Report a Security Problem

Last updated 27 October 2026

If you think you have found a security problem in one of AtlasOptima's Atlassian Marketplace apps, please tell us. We take every report seriously and will work with you to fix it.

How to report

Email support@atlasoptima.com with "Security" in the subject line. Please include:

  • the app's name and version, if you know it;
  • the steps to reproduce the problem;
  • what an attacker could do with it;
  • how we can contact you.

Do not include anyone else's personal data or content in your report.

What happens next

  • We confirm we have received your report within two business days.
  • We assess how serious the problem is and keep you updated while we work on it.
  • We fix confirmed problems within the timeframes set by Atlassian's Marketplace security bug fix policy, which are shorter for more serious problems.
  • We tell you when the fix is released. If you would like to be credited, we will name you in the release notes.

If a problem has affected customers' data, we tell the affected customers and Atlassian.

Rules for testing our apps

You may test our apps' security if you:

  • test only on an Atlassian Cloud site you own, or have written permission to test;
  • use only your own accounts and test data;
  • stop as soon as you find a problem, and do not keep any data you reached;
  • give us reasonable time to fix a problem before you tell anyone else about it.

You must not:

  • access, change or delete data that is not yours;
  • degrade the app or Atlassian's platform for others, for example through load or denial-of-service testing;
  • use social engineering, phishing or physical attacks against our people or customers;
  • test Atlassian's own products or platform. Report problems in them to Atlassian instead.

If you follow these rules and act in good faith, we will not take legal action against you for your research.
