End User Terms
Last updated 27 October 2026
These terms are between AtlasOptima Inc. ("AtlasOptima", "we", "us") and the organization that installs or uses one of our Atlassian Marketplace apps (the "app") on its Atlassian Cloud site ("you"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. The person who installs the app confirms they may accept these terms for their organization.
You buy the app through the Atlassian Marketplace. Atlassian's terms cover the purchase, billing, trials, grace periods and refunds between you and Atlassian. Atlassian is not a party to these terms, is not responsible for the app, and does not endorse it.
1. Licence
We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use the app on your Atlassian Cloud site during your subscription, including free and evaluation licences.
Use is limited to the number of users covered by your Atlassian licence tier, for your organization's internal business purposes.
We keep all rights in the app that these terms do not give you.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to let others:
- copy, sell, rent or sublicense the app, or offer it as a service to others;
- reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows this despite these terms;
- get around licence checks, permission checks or security controls;
- use the app for unlawful content or content you have no right to use;
- put an unreasonable load on the app or on Atlassian's platform;
- test the app's security except as allowed on Report a security problem.
You must also follow Atlassian's Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Your data
You own the content you and your users create in the app ("customer data").
The app stores customer data only inside Atlassian's platform and your site, and we use it only to run the app for you. We do not access it; if you send us data in a support request, we use it only to help you.
You are responsible for your content, your users and your permission settings.
Each app's Privacy and Security tab on the Atlassian Marketplace explains what it stores and what happens when you uninstall. Our Privacy Policy applies.
4. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without any duty to you.
5. Changes to the app
We improve the app over time and most updates reach your site automatically. If an update needs new permissions, Atlassian asks your administrator first. If we remove a major feature, we will say so in the release notes in advance where we reasonably can.
If we stop offering the app, we will tell you in advance and help you move your data out of it.
6. Support
Support is described in our Support policy.
7. Availability
The app runs on Atlassian's platform and depends on it being available. We do not promise a service level unless we agree one with you in writing.
Atlassian sets usage quotas and limits for apps on its platform. Heavy use can reach these limits, which may slow or pause some app features until usage falls back within them.
8. Warranty disclaimer
We build and test the app with care. To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free or uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data; and each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim and CAD $100.
These limits do not apply to a breach of section 2 (Acceptable use), to infringement of our intellectual property, or where the law does not allow them.
10. Term and termination
These terms apply while the app is installed or you have a subscription.
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app or ending your subscription through Atlassian.
We may suspend or end your use if you seriously break these terms and do not fix it within 30 days of our notice, or immediately where the law requires or a security risk exists.
Sections 3, 4, 8, 9 and 12 continue after these terms end.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version with its date and, for important changes, give at least 30 days' notice. If you keep using the app after the change, the new terms apply.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a successor of our business.
These terms are the whole agreement about the app between you and us.
